Design
Since the mid-1980s, Corry Mobach has produced annual New Year's cards featuring a batik. The cards were made in editions of approximately 75, with the batiks created in series of 4 to 5 on a long horizontal piece of fabric. The designs often flew seamlessly or alternate between mirror images. This required meticulous planning of the wax drawing and the successive dye baths.
