Rokus van Blokland
Corry van Blokland Mobach

Dollhouses, sized architecture
The first dollhouse designs are from 1969. The designs have a spiral staircase and later an antenne and radiators as well.

Rokus van Blokland develops, like the garages, a construction system of uprights, floor boards and added elements. Floor plates have notches which moves in together during the assembly, put together with only a few nails.

The drawings at the base plates, the walls and roofs are made by Corry.
The dollhouses are made for domestic and foreign markets, including the UK and France.

The spiral staircase, designed by Rokus, is used in many Sio dollhouses. A counterfeit version without the reinforcements between the steps appeared later in dollhouses of other brands.
